Toolkit Piloting

ToolKit Piloting
THEO-MUSIC Toolkit Piloting - Italy

The THEO-MUSIC Toolkit was piloted through two complementary events in Italy and Cyprus.

The Rome piloting took place over two days and followed an intensive, predominantly practical format. Participants experienced the methodology directly through Theatre of the Oppressed, Deep Listening, movement, sound and radical musical improvisation activities.

The six-hour event in Cyprus combined practical listening exercises with a detailed review of the Toolkit. Participants discussed the project’s experiences and methodology, shared examples from their professional and volunteering contexts, and explored how the activities could be adapted to different groups and needs.

Particular attention was given to the Toolkit’s autonomous use. Conceived as a clear and accessible resource, it enables adult educators, artists, social workers, volunteers and community practitioners to select and apply activities independently, while respecting the guidance provided regarding facilitation, sequencing, group dynamics and sensitive situations.

Together, the two events provided complementary feedback: Rome tested the methodology through extended practice, while Cyprus focused more closely on the Toolkit’s clarity, accessibility, transferability and potential for independent use.
